Paddle Care
Protect Your Paddle. Preserve Performance.
Your paddle is a precision performance tool. With proper care, it will maintain its feel, responsiveness, and durability far longer.
Follow these simple guidelines to keep your GRAFTON paddle playing at its best.
Storage
Proper storage is the most important part of paddle care.
- Always store your paddle in a dry, temperature-controlled environment
- Avoid leaving your paddle in a vehicle - excessive heat or cold can damage the core, face, and bonding materials over time
- When not in use, store your paddle indoors and away from direct sunlight
Consistent exposure to extreme temperatures is one of the fastest
ways to shorten a paddle’s lifespan.
Paddle Face & Edge Guard Care
After play, take a moment to clean your paddle:
- Wipe down the edge guard with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt and debris
- Clean the paddle face using a paddle eraser for quick removal of ball fibers and residue
- For a deeper clean, use a slightly damp cloth, then dry thoroughly
Over time, surface graphics may show signs of wear - this is normal and a sign your paddle is being put to good use.
Grip Care
Grips naturally absorb sweat, oils, and grit during play.
- Wipe down your grip after each session to extend its life
- Replace or refresh grips as needed for comfort and control
- Overgrips are encouraged and will help protect the original factory grip while allowing you to customize feel
A clean, well-maintained grip improves confidence and consistency on every shot.
Play Hard. Care Smart.
Regular cleaning and proper storage help preserve your paddle’s performance, feel, and longevity - so you can focus on playing your best every time you step on the court.
